Terms and Conditions For Using Our Website and Services

These terms explain how this website works, what our role as an independent insurance broker is and is not, and the rules that apply when you use the site or contact us. Please read them before relying on anything here.

Agreement to these terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Advisor Health Benefits Group, LLC ("Advisor Health Benefits Group," "we," "us" or "our"). By using advisorhealthbenefits.com (the "Site") or contacting us through it, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Our role as an independent insurance broker

We are an independent insurance agency licensed by the State of Washington. We help individuals, families, Medicare beneficiaries and small businesses compare and enroll in health, Medicare, dental and vision coverage offered by insurance companies and government programs.

  • We are not an insurance company. Insurance companies decide eligibility, underwriting, premiums, benefits, networks and claims, not us.
  • We may not represent every company or plan. The plans we can offer depend on the insurance companies we are appointed with in your area. You can ask us which companies we represent.
  • We do not provide legal, tax, financial or medical advice. For those questions, talk with an attorney, tax professional, financial advisor or your doctor.

You can confirm our licenses with the Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner license lookup. Learn more about Kevin Husted and the coverage we help with.

Medicare, Healthplanfinder and government programs

Advisor Health Benefits Group is a private, independent insurance agency. We are not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal Medicare program, Washington Healthplanfinder, the Washington State Health Care Authority or any other government agency.

You can always get free, unbiased information from Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227), from Washington's SHIBA program at 1-800-562-6900, and from Washington Healthplanfinder at 1-855-923-4633.

We do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently we represent [number] organizations which offer [number] products in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE to get information on all of your options.

How we are paid

There is no fee to work with us. Insurance companies pay us a commission when you enroll in a plan we help you with. As HealthCare.gov notes, you won't pay anything additional if you enroll with an agent or broker. Commission amounts can differ between companies and plans; you may ask us about our compensation at any time.

Information on this site is general

Articles, FAQs, costs, dates and other content on the Site are for general education about Washington health coverage and Medicare. We work to keep it accurate and cite official sources, but:

  • Premiums, benefits, networks, drug lists, enrollment periods and program rules change, often every year.
  • Information may not reflect the most recent changes or apply to your situation.
  • Plan availability and costs depend on where you live, your age, health and income, and other factors.

Always confirm details with the plan's official documents, such as the Summary of Benefits and Evidence of Coverage, or with official sources like Medicare.gov and Washington Healthplanfinder, before you make a decision. Our FAQ page lists the sources we rely on.

No coverage until approved

Using the Site, sending our contact form, calling or emailing us does not apply for, bind, change or cancel any insurance coverage. Coverage begins only when an insurance company or government program accepts your application and confirms your effective date. Do not cancel existing coverage until your new coverage is confirmed.

Enrollment deadlines are strict. Contacting us shortly before a deadline does not guarantee that an application can be completed in time, so please reach out early.

Your responsibilities

When you work with us, you agree to:

  • Give complete and accurate information. Applications with incorrect information can be denied, changed or cancelled by the insurer or program.
  • Review your application, plan documents and notices, and tell us or the insurer about errors promptly.
  • Pay your premiums directly to the insurance company or program on time.
  • Keep us and the insurer informed of changes such as a move, new income or new coverage that may affect eligibility.

We call only between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. your local time and honor do-not-call requests. You can opt out at any time by telling us, replying STOP to a text or contacting us at (509) 524-9611. Message and data rates may apply. See our Privacy Policy for details.
